Unlike here in the States, having the title “Master” in Europe is a credential that must be earned - through long years of apprenticeship, study, and rigorous, strenuous testing.In Germany, where the finest jewelers are found, becoming a master jeweler is more than a “job” – it’s a lifelong commitment to one’s craft.Studying under the direction of such master craftsmen is considered an honor not to be underestimated.

MJS Diploma Course Outline:
Basic Jewelry Program Diploma Course
Students are taught the technical skills necessary to design, manufacture, repair, remodel and maintain jewelry. Clock hours: 144 hours (Approx. 8 weeks)
Wax modeling and Casting Diploma Course
Students will learn the manufacturing of jewelry by various techniques using Waxes, Rubber Molds, Casting Investment, etc. Clock hours : 36 hours (Approx. 1 week) • Prerequisites: a) you must have at least 6 months of experience as a bench jeweler, or
Stone Setting Program Diploma Course
Type of work or skill to be learned: The student will learn how to set diamonds and precious stones. Flush-set, Pavé, Clock hours: 70 Hours (Approx. 3 weeks) • Prerequisites: a) you must have at least 6 months of experience as a bench jeweler, or
MJS Non-Diploma Course Outline:
Non Diploma courses are intended to enhance basic fabrication knowledge and teach next steps in the
Platinum Non- Diploma Classes
• Prerequisites: a) you must have at least 6 months of experience as a bench jeweler, Students are taught the technical skills necessary to design, manufacture, repair, remodel and maintain platinum jewelry. Clock hours: 30 hours (Approx. 1 week)
Basic diamond program Non- Diploma Classes
• Prerequisites: a) you must have at least 6 months of experience as a bench jeweler, or Students will learn general knowledge about the differences between natural and synthetic diamonds. Clock hours: 15 Hours. (Approx. 1 week)
Pearl Stringing
Non- Diploma Classes
A Program teaching basic stringing techniques. Students will string various beads, including pearls and semi-precious Clock hours: 12 Hours. (Approx. 1 week)
